Cordyline Australis commonly known as cabbage trees. An excellent plant for garden landscaping, being suitable for group planting or single specimen. They can grow up to 15-20m in height and 2m wide. The trunk resembles cork with a spongy yet tough texture. The leaves are long and narrow that may be up to 1m long. Sweetly scented flowers which turn into bluish white berries that the birds love to eat in early summer. Best in full sun to partial shade and plant in average soil. Extremely hardy, moist or dry tolerant, and both wind and frost tolerant. One picture is of a mature tree.
Plants are approximately 60cm to 70cm above soil level. Plants come in PB3 (2L) size bags as shown in the picture on the right.
