Penstemons are a herbaceous perennial, flowering from late spring through summer. Easy to grow in any fertile, reasonably moist, well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. An attractive and popular flowering plant, flowers look like trumpet shaped blooms. Plants can grow from 60-90cm high and can spread to 45cm. Penstemons are perfect for growing in the middle of a mixed border.
