Penstemons are a herbaceous perennial, flowering from late spring through summer. Best positioned in well-drained soil and full sun. They are drought tolerant and hardy once established. These can grow to a height of 80cm and can spread to 45cm. Penstemons are perfect for growing in the middle of a mixed border. Second picture is of the mature plant.
