These are one of the prettiest of all hardy annuals. Nigella Love in a Mist has pretty flowers and is easy to grow. They will flower from late Spring to Autumn in shades of blue, white, rose and pink and grow up to a height of 55cm, it prefers full sun to semi shade and well-drained moist soil. The flowers can also be used for cut flowers or decorative dried seed heads. It has a feathery green ferny foliage and looks good in borders or mass planting. The pictures with the flowers are an example of the mature plant.
